Ruth was brought up on a high Country Sheep station and could fly from a very young age, flying solo aged 16. Minaret Station still has no road access so Ruth has grown up flying in the Southern Alps and is completely passionate about sharing this scenic playground with people from all corners of the world.

Wayne purchased his own plane at 18 years old and was flying after work any time he could, even to pick up Friday night Fish and chips. His dream to fly saw him with his Commercial Pilot’s license in his early 20’s and his passion for sharing the excitement of flight is evident as soon as you step into the cockpit with him. We are in our 30′s and totally passionate about flying and committed to giving you a life time experience that you will never forget.
And meet Pearce Bennett, originally from Timaru is our pilot for the season. He has been flying for 5 years and has just started his ascent up the piloting world. Before U-FLY Pearce was towing gliders in Timaru and helping out in his family’s business. He is excited to be working for U-FLY and making your flight an unforgettable experience.
